Renovated from the French former governor’s mansion, The FCC Angkor occupies a central place in Siem Reap history. The building itself is a monument to provincial fortunes.
In earlier times, Siem Reap counted just a trickle of visitors. The focus then was on great food and serving a little bit of luxury to travelers weary after long days of tomb raiding. As the number of visitors increased, so did expectations. People wanted a place to stay and some care and pampering. The hotel rooms and Visaya Spa grew from those requests.
